There is a traditional craft called "Musubi-yubiwa" (ring binding) in Okinawa. The bind represents how a male and female couple meet, and also represents their strong bond.

This product uses the Musubi-yubiwa as the motif, and is designed to bring happiness to people who view it.

沖縄の伝統工芸に結び指輪というものがあります。結び目は、男女の出会いと絆を表しているそうです。
その結び指輪をモチーフに描き、見た人が幸福になることを願いデザインしました。

When I was 11 years old, a father of my friend recommended my illustration, and was chosen for the package design for an ice cream product. The ice cream package with my illustration was placed on the shelves, and when I saw families smiling as they placed the ice cream packages into their basket, I realized what I wanted to do - I wanted to design things that would make people smile.

11歳の頃、友人の父親に勧められて描いたイラストが、アイスクリームのパッケージイラストに採用されました。アイスクリームが店頭に並び、私の描いたイラストを手に取り微笑んでカゴに入れるお客さんを見た時、「私のデザインを見た人が、ちょっとでも笑顔になれるものを作ろう」と将来の夢を決めました。
